Machan School, Phoenix, AZ, a commission from the Phoenix Arts Commission. A barren playground was provided with an "oasis" including shade, seating, drinking water, a sundial and elements that acknowledge and celebrate the bilingual make-up of the students, faculty and neighborhood.
